SEDRIS™ Technology Conference 2001
Plenary Session

"This is a recap. Actually a little bit of this was on Colonel Crain's slide, talking about what SEDRIS is. If you took anything away, those of you that were at the Introduction to SEDRIS tutorial, you know about these five SEDRIS technologies. I really hope that most of you had a chance to visit the particular tutorials focused on pieces of SEDRIS. I would encourage you to take advantage of the Panels & Presentations tomorrow, and some of the Tutorials that occur on Friday to round out your experience here at the STC.

It is clearly -- as Farid talks about it always -- an infrastructure technology to support spatial domain. And I do mean spatial, not only geo-spatial, but we have a very broad domain within SEDRIS. And I think we're going to bring other communities into that broader view, just by participating with us. Clearly tools and utilities are what we are all about now, and we're looking for expanses in that area to build on these technologies, which in deed are stable."
