APPENDIX B - Constraints
Parallelepiped Structure

Definition

For a < Parallelepiped Volume Extent> instance P, the following conditions shall hold.

  1. The <Reference Vector> components of P shall comply with the restrictions imposed in the specification of the < Parallelepiped Volume Extent> class.

  2. The relative orientations of the <Reference Vector> components of P shall specify a parallelepiped volume.

Rationale

A <Parallelepiped Volume Extent> instance shall comply with the definition of its class in order to specify a parallelepiped volume.

Example

  1. No 2 <Reference Vector> components of a < Parallelepiped Volume Extent> instance may be parallel.
