Inheritance

• The SDRM specifies rules that allow objects to inherit components of objects found higher in the aggregation tree.

• Inherited components have the same semantic as directly attached components.

• The SEDRIS API provides access to inherited components via two techniques

  • A specialized iterator for inherited components
  • Automatic inclusion in “normal” component iterator
