Insertion API

• General steps to insert data:

  • Step 1: Open the transmittal (returns Synthetic Environment)
  • Step 2: Set field data for the synthetic environment object
  • Step 3: Store the synthetic environment object in the transmittal
  • Step 4: Create a new SDRM object.
  • Step 5: Set field data for new object
  • Step 6: Stores new object in the transmittal
  • Step 6: Create relationships between the new object and others (each must have been added to transmittal)
  • Step 7: Free the new object
  • Step 8: Repeat Steps 4 - 7 until done.
  • Step 9: Close the transmittal
