Minor GPS receiver problems occurred during the mission
- Dual receivers / gaps of no coverage did occur
- Shuttle backup GPS data was available, if required
- Results better than spec [0.45meters, 1sigma] without other data
Single-Pass Coverage (5.4% of Area)
- Still get elevation from single-pass because IFSAR
- May have voids due to layover and shadowing
- Accuracy will be slightly degraded vs. 2 or more pass coverage
Low Radar Signal to Noise Returns in Arid Regions
- During flight northern half of Africa persistently indicated low SNR
- Accuracy will be slightly degraded
