Object IDs

• API provides an interface to unique identifiers for SE_OBJECTS

• API Implementations can choose what level of implementation to provide

  • SE_NO_IDS - No SE_OBJECT_IDs are provided, all API calls will fail
  • SE_UNIQUE_IDS - IDs are valid between Open and Close Transmittal
  • SE_PERSISTEN_AND_UNIQUE - The IDs do not change .

• STF supports persistent and unique IDs
