- 500Km x 500Km database
- Vehicle speed is ‘S’ KMPH
- Time required to traverse the database:
(1,000 passes * 500Km/pass) / “S” KMPH
SEE-IT: Required 45 minutes to examine the entire 250,000Km2 database (about 2.5 million polygons plus numerous non-polygonal features inspected)
(Using multiple vehicles reduces time requirements linearly, but many other problems remain….)
