CTDB FormatPhysical Features - Basics

• Physical Feature information is stored in the patch structures

  • Each patch group (4 patches wide) has bits to indicate which features are present in each patch.

• Physical Features do not cross patch boundaries

  • Features must be broken apart at patch boundaries.

• XY coordinates within patches are 15-bit fixed-point format, offset from SW corner of patch

• Z coordinates are 32-bit floating point values
