<Transmittal Root> and Its Components: metadata

• SEDRIS supports several classes that provide human-readable metadata, in accordance with the FGDC standard for geospatial metadata, including

  • <Access>
  • <Description>
  • <Keywords>
  • <Point of Contact>

• These metadata objects are required only for the <Transmittal Root>, but they can also be provided for other objects if desired, e.g. <Libraries>, <Features>, and so on.
