Suppose We Want to Specify Properties of the Surface?
We may want to be able to specify properties of the surface being represented - e.g. material it’s composed of, density, and so on.
- Supplying information for ‘sensor’ systems - e.g. radar, infrared
- Supplying other properties of the object, e.g. height, mass
EDCS provides the building blocks to describe such attributes - EAs (EDCS Attributes).
EDCS Attributes are used by the DRM to describe properties, using the <Property> class and its subclasses.
