Conclusions of Experiment

• To determine validity bounds, distortion regions must be profiled for everyprojection-based SRF

• Associated computational accuracy profiles may be needed

• Application domain requirements will dictate selection of validity boundaries

• Questions are raised:

  • Does the worst case application define the validity boundary?
  • If so, what is it?
  • Possible to have discrete levels of acceptable distortion errors?
