Challenges and Complexities (1 of 3)
Abstract Classes
- Since many SEDRIS DRM relationships involve an abstract class, it becomes difficult to identify actual required relationships because the abstract class may have many subclasses that might meet the relationship requirement. Therefore, an operator must provide input and must have a high degree of SEDRIS DRM knowledge in order to specify a representation. This added a large amount of complexity to the forms developed for DSCRF. It may be beneficial to identify a ‘default’ related class that meets the abstract relationship.
