Components vs. Associations
- The manner in which these are handled in software is nearly identical however SEDRIS supports them as very separate concepts. Merging these two concepts into a single ‘relationship’ concept with a relationship type would facilitate clean up of code, forms and be more extensible towards additional types of relationships.
Class Fields
- We find that some class fields are optional, and this information would be useful to a DSCRF operator, but is not available from the SEDRIS DRM API.
- Class field default values would also be extremely useful. Even those simple ones like the SEDRIS API revision.
