JMS Draw Module
JMV uses individual “Draw Modules” to display different geospatial data types
JMS Draw Module renders all geospatial data types and formats managed by the JMTK Spatial Database
- Conforms to JMV Draw Module specifications, works with both C-Chart (C) and J-Chart (Java), as well as stand-alone
- Supports 8-, 16-, and 24-bit color systems on Solaris 7/8, Windows NT/2000 & HP-UX 11
- Geospatial data of different types and formats can be combined into composite pixmaps with priority ordering, fading, and blending of layers
- Supports multiple rendering methods:
- Vector – GEOSYM and/or user-defined point, line, area, and text symbols
- Raster – monochrome, gray-scale, or color with full color map control
- Gridded – shaded-relief, hypsographic colors, contour lines
JMTK Softcopy Map Viewer – stand-alone application that uses the JMS Draw Module to emulate the appearance and content of hardcopy maps
- Supports multiple scales, feature/layer control, grids, map projections, etc.
