Effects modeling based on the dosage (time-integrated concentration)
- Generally appropriate for casualty estimation
- Entirely suitable for hazard assessment; in fact best way
- May not be appropriate if spatial and temporal variations involved
- Instantaneous dispersion patterns are not Gaussian – that’s an internal modeling concept
- Issue for many M&S applications, where a typical and plausible “realization” is required
