Feature Nodes
Feature Node – a zero-dimensional spatial entity that defines a location in 2D or 3D
- Location of each node must be unique – multiple nodes cannot be co-located
- Cannot be located in the interior of an edge, but may be located within the interior of a face
In 2D topology, there are two subtypes, with different topological relationships
- Connected Node – found at each endpoint of an edge
- Entity/Isolated Node – contained within a face
