Constrained Strings
- A STRING whose format and values are constrained in the definition of the EA
Example:
- EAL: CALENDAR_DATE
- Definition: The calendar date; formatted as specified by <<DATE_FORMAT>> or by <<DATE_TIME_FORMAT>>
- Value example
- Value “2002” qualified by EAL DATE_FORMAT EEL CCYY is the calendar year 2002
- Value “2002” qualified by EAL DATE_FORMAT EEL YYMM is the calendar month February of the year 20 in the current century
