Attribute Value Metadata Usage

• EDCS Attribute Value Metadata Dictionary (EM) concepts may be used to characterize the value of an EDCS Attribute.

• These concepts may, in general, be applied to values of any EA instance.

• Some EM concepts are only appropriately applied to:
  • The value of an individual EA instance,
  • Sets of EA values.

• The distinction is captured in the Plurality field for the EM Dictionary entry.
