Why the Need for Interoperability?
Why do we need to interoperate between inherently different systems with inherently different representations?
- Sometimes we don’t need to, or shouldn’t!
But when we do -- when the systems appear to be close enough to each other -- it’s usually because of return on investment!
Therefore, we have a need to interchange environmental data.
