Shipping Noise (GFMPL)
- Spectral range: 25 – 15,000 hz open water
- Spatial resolution: (1/12)? (5 min) in latitude and longitude (High Resolution)
- Temporal resolution: seasonal
Wind Noise (GFMPL) (computed using in-situ wind speed)
- Spectral range: 25 – 25,000 hz
- Wind speed: 2 – 100 kts
Turbulence Noise
- Spectral range: 0 – 50 hz
- Model: linear roll off of 9.8 dB per octave
Rain Noise
- Spectral range: 550 – 15,500 hz
- Rain rate {none, intermittent, moderate, heavy} (computed using in-situ rain intensity)
- Model: Polynomial Regression (x = log10(f))
