VPF-Based Transmittal – Feature Topology

Zero or more Nodes may be contained within a Face

Each Edge is bounded by two (not necessarily distinct) Nodes (start & end)

Each Node bounds zero or more Edges

Each Face is bounded by an outer Ring, and zero or more inner Rings, each consisting of a sequence of Edges (CCW for outer Rings, CW for inner Rings)

Each Edge bounds two (not necessarily distinct) Faces (left & right)

Outer Ring is first, then any inner Rings
