CTDB FormatElevation Grid

• Elevation grid is composed of elevation posts

  • Generally sampled with 125 meter spacing
  • Stored in pages that consist of 32 posts a side

• Each elevation post is a 32-bit integer:

  • 19 bits for elevation data, stored as a fixed-point integer
  • 4 bits for Linear Features, Buildings, Trees, and Microterrain present
  • 1 Bit for alternate diagonalization
  • Remaining byte no
    longer used
