Class Name: Attachment Point
Definition
An identified location and orientation where run-time systems (post-SEDRIS
applications) can attach other Models.

Example
- Consider an aircraft Model whose hard points are
represented in SEDRIS as Attachment Points.
Consider a second Model, representing a missile. We
might have one missile hanging below the wing, and another missile hanging
from the tip of the wing. In this case, the matrix formed by the
Attachment Points would convey the
appropriate rotation. The missile, on the other hand, would use an
LSR Transformation to move the missile's
origin (which would probably be its Center of
Mass) to the point on or near the surface where it attaches to the
airplane's Attachment Points.
