Types of Operation Errors
Formulation (Algorithmic) Errors: Inherent in optimized algorithms for coordinate operations where accuracy may be traded for performance
Implementation Errors: Includes errors due to finite precision arithmetic and software implementation
Usage Errors: Includes errors due to extension of projection-based SRFs beyond “reasonable limits”
- Where coordinate operations with respect to an alternative SRF are required
