EDCS Concept Registration Guidelines

• Guidelines shall be followed in preparing registration proposals, including how proposed EDCS Dictionary Entries are to be created. 

• The following guidelines in the EDCS standard support registration for concepts:
  • Guidelines for definitions for registered items (Section 4.14.2)
  • Guidelines for labels for registered item (Section 4.14.3)
  • Rules for assigning codes for registered items (Section 4.14.4)
  • Guidelines for references for registered items (Section 4.14.5)
  • Guidelines for registration of ECs (Section 4.14.6)
  • Guidelines for registration of EAs (Section 4.14.7)
  • Guidelines for registration of EMs (Section 4.14.8)
  • Guidelines for registration of EEs (Section 4.14.9)
  • Guidelines for registration of EUs (Section 4.14.10)
  • Guidelines for registration of EQs (Section 4.14.11)
  • Guidelines for registration of EOs (Section 4.14.12)
  • Guidelines for registration of EGs (Section 4.14.13)
